Module Four

Once in a Full Moon- Ellen Schreiber
Chapter 2:
It goes in the part to explain how everyone got to know each other. Celeste and Ivy started off as best friends. Abby came into the picture.  Ivy and Abby both have boyfriends on the football them, the third boy in the bunch is Nash. They figured since they were dating them it would only make sense is Celeste Dated Nash. Nash asked her out and at first Celeste was hurt because she thought it was a joke. Celeste found out it wasn't and now they all know each other.

  • My reason to this was understanding. I liked how she went back and explained everything that went on before the following chapter.
  • I believe the authors was to give you a better understanding of how they are all friends and how they have the personalities they chose for them. Organization patterns she used were cause and effect.

Module Five

Once in a Full Moon- Ellen Schreiber
Chapter 1:
Celeste Parker and her boyfriend Nash, along with their friends are in the woods. Celeste wanted to do this date night for a long night and being under the stars with a full moon is not what she expected. Nash started telling a scary story he claims is true about a werewolf. During the story there are several howls in the distance. Everyone, included the story-teller, Nash is scared. They panic and Nash disappears. Everyone heads to the car thinking Nash got eaten to find out hes waiting for them at the cars with a smile on his face.

  • My personal reaction was terror and anger. Terror, because I could put myself in their shoes and imagine being scared and anger, because if my boyfriend ever did that to me I would be mad.
  • I believe the authors intent was to show everyone's personality so you could get to know them. Also to show you the legends of where they lived at. Some organization patterns I saw were the use of signal words.

Chapter 2

Ever finally feels that her and her boyfriend Damen are at peace in SummerLand. Ever getting to comfortable watching their pasts lives on a television notices something she never seen before. Damen has been editing the videos and only showing her the happy views, ones he only wants her to see.

  • My personal reaction to reading this chapter was anger.
  • I believe the author's intent was to show the readers what Damen has been doing when he isn't with Ever. Organization patterns I observed while reading was cause and effect.

Assignment 2.07

Book:Night Star- Alyson Noel
First Chapter-
Ever is fighting against her once-best friend Haven. Ever has to do everything in her power to stay focused to beat Haven at her own game. Even though Haven is trying to kill Ever, Ever can't help but see the old Haven behind the new, ugly one. Ever has to beat Haven in order to make everything right for her and her boyfriend Damen.

  • My personal reaction to this story was feelings of anticipation.
  • The notes i would use to help me remember the important events would be outlines. The reason why is, because since this book is the fifth one in a serious, an outline would be better to elp clarify everything that already happened along with what was going on now.
